The issues uniquely specific to women-  how to choose the career which combines principle with profit plus pleasure;  where to find the right man to marry and the wrong man to have fun with;  which birthdate to target for the best results for the new lives we create-  are those I choose to address in my use of Astrology.

     There is no question that astrology works, and works well every time we use it. 

     I have been using Astrology since 1971, when we had to calculate the first house declination from Daltons Table of Houses, by hand on graph paper!!  Yikes!! I was so happy and excited when the first astrology software became available for computers!!

     I choose to utilize sidereal, or real time astronomical positions of the planets, to calculate my astrological charts, because it makes the most sense! Now is now, and I want to know what is going on in real time right now, so I know how best to proceed to my ultimate goal.  The seasonal zodiac is useful too, but the sidereal chart is accurate, detailed, and cutting edge.

     Daily issues, challenges, choices, experience, the main message here is that we have the power to channel the energies of the stars or archetypes, to benefit all. Woman or man, gay or straight or both or neither, we all come from the stars! We have the option to act like divine royalty. We have the responsibility to to demonstrate this heritage if we want to co-create our reality.

     I suggest that you have your birth chart recalibrated and find yourself again through Sidereal Astrology.  Read your daily horoscope (provided on my last page, What's Up?) by finding your rising sign first, then your moon sign, then your sun signs forecast.  Then you will have a complete picture of what's really going on inside and around you!

     In most casts, cases, books and courses of study in Astrology, womens issues are a sideline, if that much.  We are given the planet Venus, the moon, and some asteroids, as if that is our portion of the universe!

     Yet the roots of astrology lie in the mists that rise off the Nile in summer, buried in rolling red sands of deserts, across deep watery voids, in the ancient, goddess worshiping cities.  Now as then, Astrology can be used to attune to the divine feminine, Mother Earth, Mother Nature, divine sisterhood!      

     Modern Western sidereal Astrology is the recalibration and reclaimation of the origianal zodiac, with the origianal intent of astrology in mind.  We use the stars and planets, where they are right now in the skies, to determine which way we want to solve our issues.

     This isn't the mainstream zodiac rewritten with 'her' for the noun, wrapped in gingham and lace, with asteroids thrown in to make us feel specially included.  This is the original star lore of the whole astrological system, reclaimed!      

     I don't focus on a single planet and the moon to encompass a womans experience and choices in life.  Each woman has the entire zodiac in her chart, and it doesn't make sense to leave most of it out.  Instead I focus on the whole panoply through a feminine filter!     

     Have no fear!!! Your sign didn't change!!!  The zodiac didn't change!

     The earth has changed her position in space.

     The difference between Sidereal and Tropical astrology is 28 degrees, which is due to earth changing it's position in space due to procession, and Chandlers Wobble.  Tropical Astrology is also called seasonal astrology, which many people understand more clearly!

     I chose Sidereal astrology because it's most accurate!  That simple!

     As in psychoanalysis, we use our astrology chart to sift through all the stuff in our lives and get down to the bedrock issue:  who are we?  What myth are we living out?  What lesson do we need to repeat till we get right?  Who do we take after?  What do we really want as opposed to what we say we want?

     Because we are free to chose to go our own way into the world to express our warrior Mars ourselves, or, we can tune into our Hestia archetypes, equally energetic and fiery, but home centered.  Hestia is the original goddess of the Hearth.  Both are valid for women!
     We are free today to go into the boardroom and get ourselves elected to the chair position; or we can access our Lilith archetype, and reform the whole corporate entity from top to bottom into the image we see in our own minds.  
     We are free today to leave an abusive situation though we love him dearly, for our own good; or, we can access the Juno archetype, and walk into our own power with our heads high and our dignity intact, taking our place on Olympus with wisdom and grace.  It's all up to us. 
     From Tiamet to Mother Earth, Mother Nature to naturopathy, Isis to Mary to Mrs. Fields, we all come from the Goddess, we all choose how to manifest these innate energies.
     So carefully formulate your question, choose your star, and manifest your answer!!

     You may give heed to Isis when you want to discover yourself through relationships!  Also, to discover if you ensoul the sacred stars of Gemini!
